The above benefits apply to all relationships, including same sex, friendships, neighbors helping neighbors, close relatives, or other considerate relationships. A trust is not better than a marriage in every way. Some couples would only feel that a religious marriage is adequate. Most people are now indoctinated to believe that the government must have a recorded marriage license to be a proper marriage. Does God think so? Of course, there are other considerations like retirement benefits, government benefits, insurance benefits, and attitudes of relatives.  |
